Clan DA Forum Rules
Every Forum has them so here are our common sense rules and guidelines:

Please don't upset our members and think before posting. Avoid talking about major real world topics in a way that could offend. This could include entitling posts "100 reasons why xxx (insert country, religon or game) is crap" or "why we all hate xxx". Play nice, or you'll take a trip to the moderation cupboard.

Remember that the Admin staff have real world lives too and are therefore more likely to delete and censure posts they feel are inappropriate than they are to edit them. It's hard to resist a big red button that says "delete" at the best of times.

Submissions

Please dont take credit for other peoples work. 1)its probably illegal 2) its really lame to do so. If you post work here that is not your own please make sure you have permission of the originator and that you give full credit in your post to the original source.

3) As we are an international clan we must use a universal language, in our forum english is the required language, all members are required to post in english only.

All posts made on this forum are property of the posters. If you wish to use a post made here on another site or forum you must seek permission of the original poster first. The exception to this rule is the members area. All posts made in the members area are to remain confidential within Clan DA and permission for use elsewhere is expressly denied without written consent from the site administrators.

Dont be libelous about real people. They usually have expensive lawyers who will crush us without a thought. If you are unsure if something is libelous or not it probably is so dont post it.

New Members
1) Must be 16 years pf age or over.
2) cannot view nominations area
3) cannot post in honored members area
4) cannot cast votes in polls

Theory behind this is making people be part of the community and not just use the site for nominating people into the guild. The forum will automatically promote people to full clan members after 30 days (might change this) or after 20 posts.

they will then have access to all areas as normal members do

The Forums

Please post in the relevant area and please keep on topic. Dont use the forums as a substitute to email. Get an email address or use PM's.

Posts that promote links to sites whereby a member makes a profit from said link are prohibited on the forum.

Double posts, abusive posts, libelous posts will all be deleted without a second thought.

The Moderation Cupboard

We dont routinely edit, prune, ban members but thats not to say we wont if we have to. If you have a complaint about a post or member please do not post in the open forums. If you do then no action will be taken. The correct procedure is to PM a Moderator with the details. We will look at the posts and advise the interested parties.

If you are unhappy with the result you can PM a Site Admin who will look again at the details.
