Thank you so much Dobs. S1 is up and running with my lvl 95 forging dwarf.

CHanged the connection to ISDN and can now play MP. All is well

Edit: Can't log on to MP due to error 35. I have a netgear wireless cable modem and can't find any place to add port addresses. Windows firewall is set to allow all Sacred games.

Did you try the mods to Diablo 2? Hell on Earth was one. It was amazing! There were lots of mods to that game. I think the site was Arreat or something like that.

Perhaps you'd like to try one of those (or all of them in succession).

I tried them for a while.

D2 had such a compelling quest line... the writing in the quest line really made me feel like a hero. I still love that game... despite the fact that I never learned the power of life leech in my years of playing it! (The original game. I was such a n00b!) Or... is that written "I'm such a n00b"?

Phrozen Keep. The Arreat Sumit was the "official" stats site which gave all of the various stats (monster, item, skills, etc).
